- Wow

I suddenly realize I've not read a newspaper, watched it on tv, or even gone to the The Communist News Network website like I usually do in the past two weeks. The Swiss could've invaded Canada I wouldn't know a thing about it.

I guess all this new Paramedic stuff has got me really wound up tight.

The Swiss actually invaded Lichtenstein by mistake some time ago. I guess they got lost during some sort of drill and accidentally crossed the border. It's a sign of things to come, I tell you! The Swiss know what they're doing.

I can relate, though. It was stressful to start as an RT and even my short stint as an EMT-B got me pretty wound; paramedic winding must be nuts.

Good Tuesday morning Medicmarch.

In your absence, CNN announced that in the future, if you can walk and talk, IT ISN'T AN EMERGENCY, and you must go to Urgent Care instead.

Diaper rash, the sniffles, a tummyache, and an urgent desire for morphine will no longer be considered for anything but a 'use your brain to go home and take better care of yourself' diagnosis.
